Their unique weapon is the De Lisle C.C. ("commando carbine"). Second weapon connected to them a lot is the silenced Sten.

British paratroopers now have 5 ranks - captain (Cpt), lieutenant (Lt), sergeant (Sgt), corporal (Cpl) and private (Pvt). Pvt has no insignia at all, Sgt and Cpl have chevrons on their sleeves and finally Cpt and lt have officer's shoulder tabs. There are also snow versions of paratroopers but since in snow conditions the rank insignia were covered there is no difference between officers, NCOs and men on the uniform itself.
